Registered Nurse

Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Floor23 Care is a key member of our healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional medical care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves a comprehensive approach to health management, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. The RN collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care that supports each resident's health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments for residents to identify care needs and develop individualized health care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care and support for activities of daily living with a focus on promoting independence and dignity.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Advocate for residents' health care needs within the facility and in the broader healthcare system.
• Maintain accurate and confidential resident health records, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a commitment to continuing education.
• Valid RN license in the state of operation.
• Experience in caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills with a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to educate and advocate for residents and their families.

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.5 – 3 per week
