CODE Plus, Inc., an IT government contractor, located in Fairfax Virginia with 28 years of experience within the Federal Agencies and Local government space is seeking a Requirements Analyst.

The Requirements Analysts will be responsible for effectively capturing, managing, and guiding functional solution requirements throughout our client's continuous delivery pipeline. This role requires facilitating requirement development sessions, accurately identifying and detailing functionality requirements to support a diverse range of business processes within the client's enterprise. The analyst will interpret stakeholder needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards, agency guidelines, and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include crafting detailed documentation such as capability scope statements, business process descriptions, workflow diagrams, functional and non-functional requirements, end-user documentation, and various testing and training materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct requirements development sessions with large groups, including end-users, subject-matter-experts, and analysts, to refine IT requirements.
  • Document & manage IT requirements within Jira or other project management applications, identifying dependencies between functional capabilities and technological enablers.
  • Identify & document non-functional requirements that constrain the developed application, such as compliance to applicable laws, regulation, and policies, and other constraints.
  • Collaborate with Department of Defense stakeholders to refine IT requirements for the SAP-ERP system modernization.
  • Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure a smooth progression through the project lifecycle.
  • Decompose complex system requirements into manageable features, user stories, and tasks, aligning with client priorities.
  • Engage with SAP specialists, developers, and analysts to ensure thorough implementation and testing of requirements.
  • Oversee the product backlog and assist in roadmap development for epics and features.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior management detailing progress, potential risks, and proposed solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a systems or business analyst, ideally with SAP ERP systems in a DOD environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both technical and functional team members.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in an Agile setting, preferably within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Background in supporting large-scale IT transformations involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Agile practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Finance, Logistics, or Acquisition systems.
  • Experience with large-scale government ERP implementations.
  • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working remotely within a large project.
