Job Title: Residential Property Manager
Pay Status: Non-exempt; part-time; hourly
Reports To: Operations Director
Job Summary:
The Residential Property Manager (RPM) is responsible for creating a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for facility residents. RPMs enforce rules, assist with resident services, perform assigned inspections, and minor repairs, support security personnel, serve on committees, perform duties during emergencies until management arrives, participate in the safety program, and perform work as assigned by management.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergencies only when needed and neither on duty office or maintenance staff nor the security guard can be reached.
- Assess resident compliance with rules and issue citations and/or make reports for violations.
- Walk the property indoors and outdoors looking for safety hazards and concerns; report these issues to management.
- Call residents to communicate and/or gather information as assigned.
- Provide resident assistance, such as working in the SAC room and assisting with events.
- Communicate and interact with residents, families, management, contractors, and vendors as directed.
- Deliver completed inspection report and time sheet by the 1st and 16th of each month
- Serve on resident committees.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must reside on the property of American Gold Star Manor in the unit assigned and must comply with all community rules.
- Employee’s hours are expected to be estimated to be around 10 hours per week. Compensation will be at the regular minimum wage rate, and the value of the Lodging Credit associated with the assigned unit, as set by the applicable wage order, will be credited against the wages owed.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Assist residents by finding community resources to meet their needs.

- Ability to follow instructions from management.
- Knowledge of and personal compliance with community rules.
- Passionate about improving quality of life for residents.
- Safety minded and able to respond during an emergency.
- Able to complete and return paperwork when scheduled.
- Must not hold another position with the American Gold Star Manor.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Related experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate via writing, email, text, and phone.
- Experience with computers highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb stairs, and traverse uneven ground.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
- Work outside in varying temperature and weather conditions.
- Work in rough and uneven terrain.
- Exposure to various plants and animals throughout the property.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Property management: 1 year (Preferred)
