Restaurant Manager

Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 3 years as Bar/Restaurant Manager in a full-service, high-volume dining restaurant
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time ( 10 hours)
  • Satisfactorily develop and engage with staff Approach & interact clientele with attentive Customer Service
  • Willingness to lead & proactively approach the shift
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer knowledge, preferred
  • Hospitality Degree, preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Directly supervise the development and operation of front of the house/bar employees.
  • Perform yearly reviews of front of house/bar employees.
  • Work with the training manager on scheduling training sessions on customer service and sales incentives, including TIPS training.
  • Work alongside human resources on compliance of all employee training packets, documents, regulations, laws.
  • New applicant hiring, scheduling orientations, reprimands and terminations with General Manager.
  • Front of house / bar employee scheduling using Hot Schedules.
  • Present progress updates to General Manager highlighting profitability and losses and coming up with new ideas/suggestions to improve company sales and reductions of labor costs.
  • Experience as a beverage coordinator creating specialty cocktails.
  • Knowledge in wine selections.
  • In-depth knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation techniques, and beverage trends.
  • Bartending.
