Currently Hiring for; Cooks, Bartenders, and Servers
Cook Positions:
Cooks responsibilities include studying recipes, prepping food and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, we are looking for a team member that will keep up all kitchen responsibilities while delivering the best possible food to the guest in a fast paced, quick cook environment.
Responsibilities
· Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and cooking Equipment
· Studying each recipe and gathering all necessary ingredients · Cooking food in a timely manner
· Prepping food before dinner service
· Cleaning and organizing kitchen daily
· Work closely with other kitchen staff members
· Inform wait staff about daily specials, food prep time, product availability
· Ensure appealing plate presentation
· Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
· Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
· Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area Requirements
· Proven work experience as a cook
· Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers)
· Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
· Excellent time management abilities
· Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
Wauwatiki is a craft tiki cocktail bar and Caribbean - Hawaiian inspired restaurant. We are looking for a teammate with the skills to help give the best service possible to every guest. Help customers find the perfect tiki cocktail and cuisine to make the experience one of a kind. Team members can be crossed trained and have the possibility of working both behind the bar and on the floor. We are looking for both servers and bartenders. Craft cocktail mixing experience is a plus but we are willing to train a team member with the want to learn and grow.
BARTENDER:
- Prepare, mix and put together craft cocktails
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations for food and beverages
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Mix and make all house syrups - Have a great knowledge of all items on food and drink menus
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Experience as a bartender at a craft cocktail bar a plus
- Experience making craft cocktail syrups from scratch or the ability to learn is a plus
SERVER:
Have knowledge of all cocktails and food on the menu

- Be 18 years of age or older
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour
