Retail Crystal & Jewelry Shop Sales Associate

Earth Odyssey, a busy jewelry & crystal shop in the French Quarter, is seeking an experienced high energy, positive sales person to join our team. We are all about hard work and getting rewarded! Duties will include sales, providing outstanding customer service, merchandising, maintaining inventory, learning about healing and metaphysics and assisting with duties assigned by management. We focus on self-improvement and development at all stages and a willingness to continually learn, improve and grow both personally and professionally is required. Our main values are knowledge and honesty and we are seeking someone who values the same.

All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:

* Minimum of 2 years sales experience in a retail environment
* Willingness and ability to meet and exceed set sales goals
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with others in a kind, respectful manner
* Ability to complete tasks and follow through on projects
* Ability to multi task and handle multiple customers at one time
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* Available nights, weekends and most holidays
* A strong desire to learn about crystals, metaphysics, psychic readings and related topics
* A commitment to personal and professional development
* Ability to stand for periods of time and lift at least 30 lbs.

Compensation is hourly based on experience plus a monthly bonus based on team sales achievements. Sales team members earn tips as well
