The Store Manager will report to company ownership directly and is responsible for establishing, providing and maintaining outstanding guest experiences, oversees and is accountable for the operations of the store ensuring maximum sales and profitability through managing and developing store team members, product display and inventory control, maintaining professional employee relations, designing gaming community events, and working with company leadership to make our locations the best places to play!
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, display expert product knowledge, and provide the best place to game and shop.
- Monthly sales goals and profitability achievement
- Assist store leadership with brand awareness through Marketing and social media.
- Assist store leadership with staff development.
- Oversee all aspects of Inventory Management.
- Ensuring overall store operational success
- Support company and management initiatives and direction while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Prioritize tasks with an attention to detail while ensuring a customer first focus.
- Ensure Loss Prevention awareness to protect the store from internal and external shortages.
- Make sure that all equipment is functioning and maintained, contact appropriate tech support if not.
- Attends regular meetings with or without other managers / ownership
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in retail or customer focused industry.
- Outgoing personality and ability to engage with others.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve individual selling goals as well as train employees to be effective salespeople.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Strong personal leadership skills and desire to succeed.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Schedule flexibility with the ability to work nights and weekends.
