Retail Pharmacy Manager

Gateway Pharmacy is currently searching for an energetic REGISTERED PHARMACIST/PHARMACY MANAGER to lead our retail team, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compassionate patient care. As the REGISTERED PHARMACIST/PHARMACY MANAGER, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead team performance, and drive high standards of quality and service. This role requires a dedicated professional to manage inventory, compliance, and clinical services in a fast-paced retail environment. Must have North Dakota license in good standing with the state of North Dakota or be willing to become licensed in the state of North Dakota.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Dispenses prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the following duties.
  • Reviews prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to ensure accuracy and dosing.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
  • Directs Pharmacy employees engaged in entering, filling and labeling pharmaceuticals.
  • Answers questions and provides information to Pharmacy patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals.
  • Oversee prescription processing, inventory management (ordering, stock control), and workflow optimization to reduce wait times.
  • Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.

Pay rate depends on experience.

License/Certification:

  • Pharmacist license in ND or willing to obtain (Required)
  • Registered Pharmacist degree (Required)
