Wild Birds Unlimited of Novato is now hiring for the position of part-time Sales Associate.

Primary responsibilities:

• Develop familiarity with birdfeeding products and birdfeeding in our area in order to provide excellent customer service related to backyard birdfeeding
• Master point-of-sale system and myWBU online ordering platform
• Assist with restocking sales floor and receiving incoming product deliveries

Requested qualifications:

• Comfort speaking with the public and working with computers
• Ability to comfortably lift and carry 20 lbs. bags required; comfort with 40 lbs. loads preferred
• Basic knowledge of birds or experience feeding backyard birds preferred. Candidates with limited bird knowledge but eagerness and opportunity to practice home birdfeeding are also encouraged.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
