Retail Store Director
The Misha & Puff family is currently in search of a Store Director to join our team. We are seeking a highly capable, entrepreneurial leader who is passionate about building and developing their team and connecting with the community. The key objective of this position is to develop incredible leaders, grow the business, and positively impact their surrounding community.
Our Store Director will be responsible for all aspects of the retail store operations and for the strategy and development of their people and communities. This role is accountable for ensuring that all areas of the business are fulfilled and is 100% responsible for the level of education on the floor by delivering the Misha & Puff guest experience. The Store Director builds capabilities within their teams to drive strategy and achieve results for their business today and tomorrow. This role will be the first to build the Misha & Puff experience in a new city. This entrepreneur will be responsible for the business, focused on evangelizing Misha & Puff and achieving results and brand goals.

Responsibilities:
Business Operations
· Develop strategies to support business objectives; create new store systems, and processes; improve and implement the following:
o Reporting
o Inventory Management
o Store Budgets – P+L
o POS and customer experience
o Establishment and monitoring of all store standards
· Support and create new hire on-boarding plan.
Brand Awareness + Development
· Represent Misha & Puff in existing and future communities, ensure that the highest standards of service excellence are followed and business objectives are exceeded.
· Accountability for a competitive sales and profit performance in all retail locations.
· Partner with corporate teams to:
o Establish and achieve sales goals, develop operating budgets, and monitor performance.
o Collaborate with buyer and creative team to clearly communicate opportunities for increased sales and profit growth.
· Build strong in-store team, clearly communicate company standards and make sure they are being met.
· Maintain a professional and positive environment at all times.
People – Team Cultivation
· Own recruitment, potential hire selection, and training top tier talent.
o Set expectations and maintain a consistent and successful employee experience for all store hires.
· Support, coach, and advise leadership with all employee relations and performance management.
o Review process, strategic guidance, and employee development.
· Conduct weekly retail team meetings.
· Guide implementation of proper merchandising, presentation plans, and new store systems.
Client Relations
· Develop and build customer in-store experience.
· Manage store related customer service needs and inquiries.
· Client outreach
o Personalized emails, handwritten notes, client specific newsletters
· Develop, promote and establish in store events.
Corporate/Retail Liaison
· Liaison between Misha & Puff HQ/senior management and stores to provide insight on store environments and selling activity.
· Partner with teams to effectively run the retail business:
o Creative/Merchandising
o Marketing/Events
o Buying/Planning
o Financials/Budgets
· Assist in developing integrated marketing events, programs to increase sales, footsteps, and brand awareness.
· Work with team to improve programs and reporting that elevate the client experience.
· Partner with finance team on creating budgets and establishing per store goals.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 year’s work experience in sales management, 2 years management experience preferred
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
· Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Detail oriented and highly organized
· Ability to multi-task and coordinate ongoing projects, plans and people
· Work well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
· Love of brainstorming, problem-solving, being creative and resourceful
· Positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm for Misha & Puff, community and people
