Position Summary

The Ride Home Program (RHP) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the daily management and administration of the Ride Home Program at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition. This position operates within the ARC's member peer network, focusing on providing immediate reentry support to individuals returning home from incarceration. The RHP Coordinator is responsible for facilitating rides home from prison, ensuring a warm and supportive welcome upon release, and equipping participants with the tools and resources necessary for a successful reintegration into society. This position also manages transportation services for incoming residents of ARC's housing program.

Essential Job Duties

  • Collaborate with institutions, counselors, and Probation Officers (PO) to assign and oversee the pick-up of recently released individuals through the Ride Home Program.
  • Specific responsibilities include arranging accommodations and coordinating travel and transportation for individuals who have been newly released.
  • In addition to assigning Ride Home drivers to pick-ups, the RHP Coordinator will occasionally conduct pick-ups personally.
  • Conduct thorough follow-up with recently released individuals who are participating in the Ride Home Program.
  • Provide mentorship through regular communication and consultations.
  • Facilitate connections to local reentry resources and support programs.
  • Develop and maintain a tracking mechanism to demonstrate the Ride Home Program’s impact on reducing recidivism rates.
  • Oversee the internal administration of the Ride Home Program at ARC.
  • This includes processing travel reimbursements, monitoring Ride Home Program revenue and expenses, and developing and tracking program budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Development department to actively contribute to the funding of the Ride Home Program.
  • Support the follow-up with potential eligible members whose entry point was the Ride Home Program.
  • Provide Life Coach mentorship to these individuals.
  • As a valued member of the Member Services team, the RHP Coordinator may be called upon to assist the department in various additional tasks and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in case management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively, or a willingness to learn and adapt to multitasking requirements.
  • Possesses leadership characteristics and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.

Salary/Benefits

  • Pay rate is $24.04/hr to $27.64/hr doe.
