Sales Applications Engineer

• This position can be based out of our Loris, SC or Rockhill, SC locations.

EBTRON, a market leader in the rapidly growing technology sector of building automation, is looking for a highly skilled self-motivated Inside Sales Applications Engineer. Are you an excited and eager Applications Engineer that wants to have ownership over your work and direct impact on the business? If so, we want to talk to you.

What you might be doing:

· Work with engineers, control contractors and our representatives to properly use our Air Flow Measuring Stations and other products in their projects.

· Evaluate quote requests and orders that have unique or challenging applications of our products.

· Assists with the development and maintenance of relationships with representatives, engineers, architects, contractors, installers and/or end users.

· Work with Air Handling Unit Manufactures to properly apply our Air Flow Measuring Stations in their products.

· Assists the executive management with acquisition of field data for product development purposes.

· Assists as liaison with outside division sales managers and representatives with cross territorial issues and solutions.

What we need from you:

· Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, but not required.

· Preferred experience in Sales.

· Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office.

· Good knowledge of computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD.

· Capable of reading and understating building plans, layouts, and specifications.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to learn specific inhouse and third-party software programs.

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

· A thirst for knowledge, sense of humor and willingness to voice your opinions.
