Sutter Home and Hearth is Seattle’s leading retailer of gas and wood fireplaces, BBQ’s, fire pits, and outdoor living products. We serve a variety of clients from homeowners to architects; the little house on the corner, the custom house on the lake, and the skyscraper downtown. Our company has been located in Ballard, serving the Seattle area, for over 40 years.

We are currently looking for a seasoned professional who carries a passion for relationship based sales. Our ideal candidate is someone who is excited by sales work and giving great customer service, someone who likes to apply their critical thinking skills as they guide their client through the sales process: someone who enjoys a good puzzle and takes pride in creating custom solutions that will enrich the daily life of each individual client.

Qualifications & Key Responsibilities:

  • Positive and upbeat demeanor. Excited by sales work and by offering excellent customer service.
  • 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in relationship based sales.
  • Confidence in executing promotions, meeting or exceeding established sales goals.
  • Good understanding of account management and sales strategy.
  • Consistently presents oneself in a positive and professional manner.
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and meet new challenges.
  • Punctual and Reliable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of computers including software suites such as Microsoft Office and Google Apps
  • Ability to manage a basic CRM software system
  • Ability to work weekends regularly.
  • Driven by performance based earning potential.
