*This is a field-based position, travel required

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an organized list of accounts in the territory, ranking the accounts based on opportunity and patient counts.
  • Solicit, secure and develop new accounts, drive sales and establish key customer relationships
  • Meet or exceed Betty’s Eddies sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Monitor customer, and competitor trends and provide a periodic market analysis
  • Maintain regular communication and perform a rotation of dispensary visits with our customers
  • Schedule, coordinate and execute events to promote our brands and educate our partners and patients on our products
  • Develop promotional plans, advertising programs, and educational initiatives to drive sales of Betty’s Eddie’s with customers
  • Direct accounts in proper and effective merchandising and consumer awareness of our brands by:
  • Building diverse product assortment
  • Guiding proper shelf management positions
  • Develop and execute clear and effective brand merchandising standards including visibility and display
  • Maintain and update a database of contacts for each of our retail partners
  • Create excitement and coordinate the launch of new Betty’s flavors and Innovation products
  • Solicit wholesale orders, assist in the customer facing fulfillment process including delivery and delivery sequencing
  • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
  • Embody the mission, culture, values, while fully supporting our purpose, goals, and objectives

Requirements:

  • High level of professionalism and experience working within a well-organized, sales-oriented company
  • Must be highly organized, with keen attention to detail and possess good time management skills
  • An entrepreneurial drive and proven 4-5 years of demonstrated success in B2B/CPG field sales
  • Strong networking skills required for lead generation/business development
  • Must have business acumen and sharp negotiating skills
  • Considered a "closer" and can provide evidence to support direct sales achievements
  • Excellent computer skills including strength in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of and experience in the cannabis industry preferred, but not required
  • Exhibit high ethical and professional standards while demonstrating honesty, integrity and behaviors in accordance with the company vision, mission, policies and procedures
  • Must have own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance
  • Is willing to travel as needed
  • Additional Requirements

Must pass any and all required background checks

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
  • Must possess valid driver’s license with daily access to working vehicle
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry

Working conditions

After-hours work required for business meetings, events and customer relations including nights and weekends as needed.

This position requires frequent travel within the assigned territory.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 2- 4 years’ experience in B2B wholesale sales preferred
