Key responsibilities of a sample taker include:

Collecting water samples:Taking samples from sources like wells, treatment tanks, and distribution lines, following established procedures and chain-of-custody protocols.
Route Management: Daily driving to customer sites and between our lab locations in Tulsa and Vinita.
Performing basic water quality tests:Using laboratory equipment to test samples for pH, chlorine levels, temperature, and other parameters.
Documenting and reporting results:Recording test data accurately and submitting reports to relevant authorities as needed.
Adhering to safety protocols:Following safety guidelines and procedures when handling samples, chemicals, and equipment.

Qualifications

Entry level position
Knowledge of water and wastewater industry helpful but not required.
Excellent data collection and analytical skills, with attention to detail being essential.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be 21+ with clean MVR and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
