SAP Sales & Distribution Consultant with Government Contract Management

The Consultant works closely with the Dassian Solution Architect to define business process scope and objectives as they relate to the Dassian solutions in the Contract Management space. Utilizes prior Government Contract Management work experience in execution of duties. Analyzes and evaluates existing and proposed systems and devises or modifies processes and procedures to meet customer requirements. Responsible for working with Dassian Co-Innovation to provide complete solutions. Works closely on Dassian specific projects and tasks, with key customer personnel, identifying and implementing automated or manual procedures or configuration changes.

Responsibilities: Essential duties

• Develop and implement Dassian Contract Management solutions within an SAP environment in conjunction with SAP Sales & Distribution
• Provide deep functional, process and technical expertise around the Dassian Contract Management solution
• Gather requirements through leading workshops, individual interviews or other means to fully understand the customer’s needs
• Identify via customer discussions the architecture and data flow diagrams for the aligned Dassian Statement of Work
• Identify early any potential issues and gaps in proposed SAP and Dassian solutions and recommend mitigation
• Provide extensive leading practice industry solution knowledge in the Government Contract Management space
• Execute detailed system design and create functional specifications for Co-Innovation or custom development
• Perform configuration changes in the Dassian Contract Management solution area and SAP Sales & Distribution module and other modules as relevant
• Create unit and integrated test plans to validate Dassian Contract Management solution and support execution of solution testing
• Assist in development of process documentation, training materials, user guides or other documentation as defined
• Foster a close working relationship with the customer both external and internal

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in SAP Sales and Distribution module, 4+ years preferred
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Contract Management in the US Government/DOD industry is required, 3+ years preferred. Experience in Engineering and Construction and Government Contracting preferred.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
• Minimum 3 years ERP experience, 5+ years preferred

Industry business knowledge/experience:

Strong command of Dassian supported Industries including but not limited to Aerospace and Defense, Oil and Gas, Professional Services, Life Sciences, Federal Civilian Agencies and Engineering and Construction Operations. Ability to communicate Dassian technology enabled solutions to our clients/prospects articulating the impacts/considerations of regulatory compliance, business process and organizational changes in addition to describing the extended features of the Dassian solution in a business value impact context. Extensive understanding of the related SAP modules including functional and configuration.
