We are currently seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to support our operations during the summer months. This full-time, temporary position is ideal for individuals looking for seasonal employment, with flexibility on start and end dates. The role operates on 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. No prior experience is required — we provide comprehensive on-the-job training, including forklift operation for those eager to learn.

Position Overview

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the facility, and manually package materials and products for outbound shipments both domestically and internationally. The Seasonal Warehouse Associate will also assist in receiving products and materials into the warehouse and utilize data entry and labelling techniques accordingly. The Seasonal Warehouse Associate will collaborate with other departments to expedite timely and cost-effective solutions for importing and exporting materials to both internal and external customers. The Warehouse Associate is essential for helping to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy and provide exceptional on-time delivery to all customers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Daily priorities are pulled from the ERP system, each team member manages their daily workload through the CSI Workbench. Utilization of handheld barcode scanning guns and computers where applicable.
  • Receives all direct and indirect materials received. Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and marks information on gaylords or other containers.
  • Provides point of inspection when needed.
  • Assist with inventory related tasks which may include cycle counting or other methods of inventory control.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using company provided tools, and at times by hand into vehicles ensuring proper wrapping to prevent damage in transit. Occasionally loads containers by hand when required.
  • Transports materials from various locations to work sites/locations using a variety of material handling tools and equipment. Outbound shipments are scheduled with freight carriers as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues or problems that arise moving any material, finding creative solutions, and keeping team members well informed of the status and potential changes to delivery schedules.
  • Work with other members of the warehouse team on continuous improvement projects to reduce errors and reduce costs as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Schedule same-day pick-ups and deliveries of products and materials.
  • Professional electronic communications with vendors, customers, third parties, and 3PL’s.
  • Work with power tools to construct crates for safe shipment of machines and parts.
  • Cleans assigned warehouse and work areas daily. Returns tools and equipment to designated areas.

Basic Qualifications

Education/Certifications

  • High school diploma required, additional technical training preferred
  • Forklift certification is a requirement of this position. Training and certification will be completed by a certified Oliver trainer
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for consideration

Experience/Skills

  • One to two years warehousing responsibility preferred
  • Team player with well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Works well with people across the organization to gather information, make decisions/recommendations, and drive improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills and significant comfort working with numbers and MRP systems
  • Knowledge of standard procedures for receiving and shipping including customer requirements and state and federal regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with power tools preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing & warehouse environments
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand and/or sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
  • There is a requirement to be on your feet, walk and reach with arms and hands.
  • The associate will be tasked to lift and/or move items weighing 20 pounds or less and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40+ pounds.
  • The position requires wearing company provided eye protection and protective footwear.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
