Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive SEBA League Coordinator and Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment and Summer Recreational Baseball Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is crucial in supporting our association and enhancing productivity through efficient program management practices.

Duties

- Provide primary oversight of the SEBA Office and Facility

Duties Include but are not limited to

Provide day to day oversight of the Sioux Empire Baseball Association Office

o In-Season Hours

o Off-Season Hours

o Friday Hours are by Appointment and Remote Phone/Email Answering

Provide oversight of any SEBA seasonal office staff and/or interns

Provide oversight of lawn care, snow removal, and facility cleaning

Utilize SEBA Office Phone for communications while in office

Utilize Google Voice Personal Line when out of office and on Fridays when working remotely

Utilize the SEBA Admin email, forwarded any relevant information to other staff members

Prepare gate bags for HS Events, Post 15 Events, and Tournaments

- Provide primary oversight of SEBA League

Duties Include but are not limited to

o Team Formation

o SEBA League Coordinator Oversight

o Equipment/Uniform Handout - With All Staff and SEBA Board

o Equipment Management - With Director of Baseball Operations

o Picture Schedules – With Executive Director

o Pre-Season Rules - With Director of Baseball Operations

o In-Season Rule Clarifications - With Director of Baseball Operations

o Information Meetings - With Director of Baseball Operations

o End of Season awards

o Background Checks

o Concessions

- Provide primary oversight of Miracle League

o Duties Include but are not limited to

Miracle League Coordinator Oversight

o Team formation

o Participant Gathering

o Ball Buddy Gathering and Scheduling

o End of season awards

o Uniform creation and distribution

- Provide primary oversight of the SEBA Website

Duties Include but are not limited to

o Full website management of all pages except the tournament pages

o Registrations

- Provide primary oversight of the SEBA Social Media and Marketing

Duties Include but are not limited to

o Facebook

o Twitter

o Instagram

o SEBA League Marketing

o Camps / Clinics Marketing

o “Lets Talk Baseball” Semi-Monthly Email

- Provide primary oversight of Signage and Sponsorship relationship building

Duties Include but are not limited to

o SEBA League Division Sponsors

o SEBA League Team Sponsors

o Tournament Sponsors

o Facility Signage

o Harmodon Park Signage

- Other Duties as Assigned

SEBA is a non-profit organization that has three full-time employees. Due to the nature of the business, duties may fluctuate from time to time as the staff and SEBA Board look to provide appropriate coverage for all areas of the association.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Baseball/Softball Background Preferred
  • Previous knowledge or willingness to learn SportsEngine web system
  • Strong office, clerical, and administrative experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in event planning and schedule management
  • Leadership abilities with team management experience
  • Familiarity with social media management and vendor management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,500.00 - $47,500.00 per year
