Security Analyst II

Position Overview:

KeyNet Technologies seeks talented Security Analysts II with traditional server, network, and cloud infrastructure experience to join our Information Security Department. This position will require a deep knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure, log investigation techniques, knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructures, and incident handling experience. You will need to know about threats to servers, networks, applications, client computing, and cloud infrastructure, as well as network protocols and theory regarding them, as well as the ability to proactively identify signs of misuse and abuse using various log sources. This is a hybrid position that requires in-office hours. Success in this role requires passing a pre-employment assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Onboard new clients to and maintain the following platforms:

o Security Information and Event Management

o Endpoint Detection and Response

o Vulnerability Management

o DNS Layer Security

o Email Security

o Cyber Awareness

o Future or new Information Security platforms and controls

· Conduct threat-hunting activities

· Conduct root cause analysis on identified issues and propose recommendations for mitigation

· Implement Security Controls and Configurations

· Conduct end-user cybersecurity awareness training

· Participate in client and internal cybersecurity review meetings

· Provide support, guidance, and backup to other members of the Information Technology team

· Develop, implement, and maintain security documentation, procedures, and policies

· Rotate on the on-call schedule to address security incidents outside of regular business hours

· Pursue ongoing education to stay current with evolving information security threats

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of client, server, and infrastructure engineering experience

· 5-7 years of Information Security experience with defined work duties

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

· External consulting experience is a plus

· The ability to meet our business requirements for auto insurance while traveling local and long distances from our office

Pay: $80,279.00 - $85,935.00 per year
