Applicant Requirements:

• ✅ Must be at least 21 years old
• ✅ Active PERC Card (since 2022 or for 2 years) & 20-hour training certificate
• ✅ Minimum of 2 years security experience
• ✅ Valid Illinois State ID or Driver's License
• ✅ High School Diploma or GED required
• ✅ Must pass drug screening & extensive background check
• ✅ Ability to handle high-stress situations professionally
• ✅ Comfortable working alongside canines (dogs)

Physical Requirements:

• Perform 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, lift 70 lbs, and run a half-mile
• Stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods in all weather conditions
• Respond swiftly to security threats, including running when necessary

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality security services to protect people and property
• Conduct patrols, monitor access points, and maintain security presence
• Report security breaches, incidents, and unusual activities
• Utilize advanced security technology & surveillance systems
• Work with K9 units to detect threats and maintain order
• Respond to emergencies, including medical, fire, and security incidents
• Follow security protocols and attend court proceedings as needed

Work Schedule & Training

• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift available (3rd shift, Weekends & Holidays Required)
• Training:  4 weeks of hands-on classroom &  CTA Red Line platform training with Canine
