Senior Accountant

Nutex Health is seeking the next Senior Accountant to join our expanding company. As the Senior Accountant, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for all accounting activities and financial reporting to support operations and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports and maintain the general ledger through financial review of assigned facilities, reconcile all assigned bank accounts, report variances and corrections as needed
• Assist with audit preparations and prepare documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Perform account reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Intercompany transactions.
• Fixed Asset analysis as needed
• Recommend ways for process improvement
• Cross-train within the team to learn or teach processes and improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• 5 - 10 years of experience in a Healthcare setting
• Excel proficiency
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, etc.)
• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
