Pavone Group, home to multiple full-service advertising agencies, is looking for a Senior Art Director who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers “click”.

This position will be working specifically our Quench brands (food & beverage focus) and can be based in either Atlanta, GA or Philadelphia, PA. We offer a hybrid work environment, i.e., 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Summary

A sr. art director produces bold, strategic, engaging ideas in all media in the advertising space: including video, social media, digital and live brand activations and traditional placements.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently brings fresh, new ideas - from tv to social media - without being asked.
  • Stays current with the pulse of what is happening in the advertising industry and what is trending.
  • Handles creative projects from briefs to ideation to pixel-perfect delivery, in partnership with the copywriter, strategy, communications, and project management teams.
  • Executes original visual ideas
  • Works solo or in conjunction with a copywriter.
  • Concepts in a wide variety of styles that are on strategy and that amplify a brand’s unique personality.
  • Works with creative directors to write rationale to sell all work.
  • Has a deep understanding of each client’s business model basics, key issues, demographics and competitive situation.
  • Reviews work with creative lead and creative directors before presentation to client.
  • Works with project management and other department leaders to ensure that all deliverables are being met from a content, timing and budget standpoint.
  • Assists or leads new business efforts.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience at an advertising agency or in house advertising department.
  • Experience creating work for the food and beverage category a must.
  • May present work to clients with strategic and conceptual support with a clear, comfortable, persuasive presentation style suitable to the client and conversation.
  • Thinking in terms of broader, bigger campaigns and initiatives is a must.
  • Passion for creating creative for social media strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. AfterEffects and Premiere a plus, but not required
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • The ability to attend at least one seminar, workshop, or other educational activity annually.
  • Must remain current on industry trends and technology.
