Senior Field Service Technician- Dispatchable

As a Senior Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers in a variety of locations. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF). Ideal candidate:

  • Valid Drivers license
  • Must be able to get access to a nuclear facility through strict background check and drug screen
  • Manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Experience with any of the following: Electrician (any level), pump maintenance experience, PLC controls or programming, journeyman Millwright

Basic Responsibilities:

  • Frequently coach and train entry-level technicians
  • Perform maintenance with pumps, motors, pneumatic and electrical controls
  • Work with plumbing and PVC pipefitting
  • Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
  • Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
  • Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and trouble shooting abilities
  • Work various hand and power tools regularly
  • Often work at heights, or confined and dark spaces that require proper attention to safety regulations and procedures
  • Transition between functioning in a team environment and working independently
  • Able to cover off hours, weekends, nights and respond to call outs when necessary
  • Other duties as required

About You:

This is a service role and you’ll bring your positive attitude to work with you every day because making other people happy makes you happy. To be successful in this role you should have the following:

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment

Preferred but not required:

  • Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
  • Controls or programming and/or water treatment equipment including UF/MBR Working experience with PLC control systems, PLC programming and troubleshooting

- 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
- 2-5 years experience in an industrial application ( electrical, plumbing, controls and
mechanical maintenance) Plant maintenance and previous experience as a field technician required
-Ability to travel extensively

-Ability to gain and maintain access to sites as assigned
-Valid Driver’s License
