Job Posting: Senior Finance and Budget Analyst

Position Location: Washington, DC (Metro Area) HYBRID

Salary Range: $130k to $150k

Work Environment: Hybrid. The Senior Finance and Budget Analyst is required to be present in the office 2-3 days a week. This is subject to change based on the customer’s guidance.

Position Summary: The Senior Finance and Budget Analyst will provide the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) analytical program support in the execution of its financial and program management functions with specific focus on the following areas:

· Formation and evaluation of complex financial and budget data to support programmatic decisions for a muti-billion-dollar activity associated with the safe conversion, removal, and disposal of nuclear materials.

· Evaluate financial and programmatic data to formulate budget, schedule, or technical impacts and make recommendations to senior leaders that improve program execution.

· Develop decision-support visualizations and content for reports and briefings of senior leaders.

· Interface with government databases and tools used in budget planning, programming, formulation, and execution management to include the Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS), Microsoft BI, Tableau, etc.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree

· 10+ years of experience

· Adept utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft BI, and Tableau to manage large data sets and create related decision-support visuals.

· DOE Q or TS clearance

· Knowledge and experience in the use of Open-Source research

· Basic understanding of developing and managing planning documents and risk assessments for complex government programs

· Strong written and oral skills to assist in preparing management plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Master’s Degree

· Experience with nuclear weapons programs in the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) with specific emphasis on the safe disposal of nuclear material.

· Degree in Finance or Data Science or related experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
