Senior Investment Accounting Consultant - Yardi Voyager

BC Solutions provides implementation consulting, development, and operating support, to businesses using YARDI® software. We have been operating for nearly 20 years, with a team comprised of industry experts and programmers that love using their knowledge to drive successful projects for our clients.

We are looking for a Senior Accounting Consultant with expertise in Yardi's Investment Accounting solution. As a Senior Investment Accounting Consultant, this person will be responsible for partnering on Investment Accounting/Investment Manager implementations and client projects including GL configurations, rollups/consolidations, waterfall/pref modeling, and capital call and distribution workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and optimize Yardi IM modules, including fund/entity structures, capital account tracking, equity rollups, ownership mapping, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall calculations.
• Develop deep expertise in all Yardi IM functionalities and related modules supporting fund-level accounting and investor reporting.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements for investment accounting processes, complex fund structures, and technical configurations.
• Create and execute project plans while maintaining clear communication on milestones, timelines, and actual-to-budget progress.
• Promote accountability across all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
• Assist clients with monthly and year-end fund close optimization, ensuring proper reconciliation workflows and best practices for fund and investor accounting.
• Translate complex investment accounting requirements into Yardi IM configurations (e.g., capital account allocations, waterfall distributions, pref equity calculations, and investor reporting).
• Provide training and guidance to client accounting teams on investor reporting, capital call/distribution workflows, and system navigation.
• Interface with BC Solutions leadership to identify business growth opportunities and proactively propose system enhancements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for miscellaneous accounting questions at the property or development entity level for BC Solutions consultants when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all configurations, workflows, and project deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with fund-level accounting operations, including partnerships, REITs, SPVs, JVs, and multi-tiered entity structures.
• Advanced proficiency in Yardi Investment Management modules (capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, investor reporting, fund/entity setup).
• Direct experience in real estate investment accounting and finance, including GAAP principles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with investment and fund accounting data.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Commitment to client service and successful project delivery.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a virtual environment.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and complex fund structures.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
