Hennessey Performance Engineering seeks a full-time Senior Level High Performance Automotive Technician with professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in high-end or aftermarket automobiles.

In this position, you will build high performance vehicles by tearing vehicles down and replacing parts that will make more horsepower. This includes: engine swaps, power adders like superchargers and turbochargers, head and cam swaps, off road bumpers, lights and wiring, and much more. Along the way, your stellar attitude, attention to detail, and focus on quality, will help ensure the best possible products delivered to our customers.
Applicants should have experience in automotive mechanics and performance parts. Tools are required.Diagnostic experience is a plus as well as any certifications.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Performance Automotive mechanics and repair
· Maintaining tidy work area
· Owning personal tools, Basics required, advanced recommended.
· Efficiently navigate through pre set builds that are assigned
· Follow procedure and be open to doing things the way that you are taught
· Be coach-able
Skills/Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience as Automotive Technician
· 5+ years of Performance Automotive Experience
· Knowledge of automobiles in all areas
· Diagnostics
· Ability to solve problems and navigate custom solutions
· Ability to do repetitive builds and increase speed and quality
· Local and able to drive to our office in Sealy Tx Monday through Friday

About Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE)
John Hennessey and the Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) team have been making fast cars go faster since 1991. Over the last 29 years, John and his team have built more than 10,000 vehicles with more than 400 of those in 2019 alone. HPE operates in a soon to be 51,000-square foot workshop and showroom facility situated on 143 acres near Sealy, Texas (about 45 minutes west of Houston). HPE offers a wide variety of dyno-proven, track tested high-performance engine upgrade packages & parts for a variety of modern performance vehicles. Hennessey Performance is also the only tuner in North America that operates its own test track—the Lonestar Motorsports park 1/4-mile dragstrip facility which is adjacent to the HPE workshop & showroom.
