Additionally, our firm has recently been honored as a Best Place to Work for the sixth time.

Job Description:

We are hiring a full-time, experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal. The person who fills this position will support the work of multiple attorneys and will report to the Director of Litigation Services. The schedule is somewhat flexible and the position is hybrid requiring Wednesdays and Thursdays in-office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate with e-discovery vendors.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain documents and files related to legal matters, including documents received from the client, opposing parties, or other sources.
  • Prepare first drafts of common litigation documents, such as discovery requests and responses, motions and supporting documents, research memoranda, briefs, and the like.
  • Proofread legal documents.
  • Complete filings in both state and federal courts, including appellate courts. Ensure filings are in compliance with state and federal court rules and e-filing documents therein.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court appearances, depositions, and other proceedings, including scheduling the necessary vendors.
  • Conduct research using Westlaw, PACER, or other relevant research platforms to support the needs of the client.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants must have a thorough understanding of complex civil litigation. We are looking for a motivated individual who is proactive, wants to work in a busy, collegial environment, and who enjoys the process of complex litigation. Candidates must have the following credentials:

  • A minimum of six years’ experience working on complex civil litigation matters in a law firm (with a preference for those with specific experience in complex business-litigation matters).
  • Familiarity with the rules that govern civil litigation in state and federal courts, including the local rules and filing requirements.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience managing discovery in complex litigation, including experience with e-discovery vendors and review platforms.
  • Strict attention to detail, including the ability to proofread documents accurately and to ensure court papers are in compliance with the BlueBook and other citation guides.
  • The ability to communicate and engage effectively and professionally with firm attorneys, opposing counsel, and clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a great attitude.

Other Information:

  • Competitive benefits, including Four Seasons discounts offered to tenants only.
  • Hybrid work environment: Wednesdays and Thursdays in-office.
