About SBX
SB Experiential (SBX) is an experiential event marketing agency that brings brands to life at the biggest moments in sports and entertainment — from the Super Bowl and Formula 1 to the Final Four, ESPYs, and NASCAR. We concept, produce, and execute high-impact experiences that put fans in the middle of the action.
We’re growing fast — and we’re looking for a Senior Production Manager who thrives at the intersection of creativity, logistics, and technology. If you love leading teams, managing details, and turning complex builds into flawless live experiences, you’ll fit right in.
The Role
This is a hybrid role blending project management and on-site event production. You’ll manage major client programs from kickoff through post-event wrap, while also being hands-on with hardware, software, and installation in the field. You’ll lead teams, own deliverables, and be the calm in the chaos.
What You’ll Do
Project & Client Management
- Lead day-to-day program execution post-sale, including timelines, sourcing, production schedules, and client communications.
- Serve as the main bridge between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors.
- Manage budgets, logistics, and production plans to deliver best-in-class events on time and on budget.
- Mentor up to two junior team members, developing their project management and production skills.
- Deliver post-event reports with key insights and recommendations.
Event Production & Technical Execution
- Travel to events nationwide as the on-site technical lead — overseeing installation, setup, and live troubleshooting.
- Configure and operate event technology (computers, cameras, AV, networks, power systems).
- Work with custom software to fine-tune event configurations and ensure bulletproof reliability.
- Work with custom digital programming, including user experiences, wireframes, email and sharing apps, process flows, etc.
- Troubleshoot live issues with confidence and creativity to keep the show running.
- Prepare event documentation, coordinate shipping logistics, and manage pre-event testing.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in technical event production or live experiential activations
- Experience working with digital programming, such as Adobe, SendGrid, and others.
- Strong technical skills: computers, AV systems, media capture, and networking
- Comfortable lifting and moving equipment (50–70 lbs)
- Willing to travel (20–30%) and work event hours (nights/weekends/holidays)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Proficiency in Google Workspace; Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
Why SBX
At SBX, we don’t do “good enough.” We push boundaries, sweat details, and celebrate excellence. You’ll join a tight-knit, talented team where big ideas are encouraged — and backed by the best tools and teammates in the business.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay and clear growth path
- 401(k) with company match
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Hybrid flexibility
- Access to the biggest live events in sports and entertainment
Who Thrives Here
You love high-stakes environments. You think three steps ahead. You believe the smallest details make the biggest difference.
If that sounds like you — and you’re ready to help shape unforgettable brand experiences — we’d love to meet you.
(If you’re looking for a slow pace or just a paycheck, this probably isn’t your scene.)
