Senior Project Manager

Overview:

The Senior Project Manager for Federal Industry will be a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for leading and managing complex projects within the federal sector. This individual will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be able to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and to identify new business opportunities.

· Establish goals and objectives, prepare proposals for growth opportunities, determine staffing requirements, and monitor activities to ensure efficient service provision within budgetary limits.

· Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding client expectations.

· Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resources, using appropriate tools and methodologies.

· Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.

· Communicate regularly with upper management and key stakeholders to provide progress updates, report on project status, and address any concerns or issues.

· Coordinate with other project managers and teams to ensure project alignment and integration.

· Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

· Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and industry standards.

· Manage relationships with government clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met

· Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and status updates

· Ensure compliance with all government contracting regulations and requirements

· Mentor and guide junior project managers to help them develop their skills and capabilities

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a master's degree is preferred.

· PMP certification is desired.

· A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on the federal sector.

· Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and drive results.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including FAR and DFAR.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Possess and maintain a security clearance

· Maintain a valid driver’s license
