Position Overview: Senior Strategic Planner
This position will support the following ANG Combat Readiness Training Center program: provide technical and regulatory support for two CRTC council meetings and up to four CRTC working group meetings; CRTC working group meetings will be teleconferences unless otherwise directed by the Council; meetings are an average of five days to include travel; process refinement and implementation, meeting message preparation, invitations, and notification, assistance in agenda development, meeting facilitation, briefing preparation and presentation, reports of meeting proceedings, and dissemination of meeting information; provide detailed draft meeting minutes for all events NLT 10 business days after the event; support review of Air Force and Air National Guard regulatory review, development and changes related to CRTCs; support development of strategic and planning documents for CRTCs used to inform ANG leadership for capabilities and programmatic decisions. The position will also provide support for ANG Operational Training Infrastructure processes related to ANG Range Instrumentation, Air Combat Training Systems and Electronic Warfare Simulator Systems. Will assist in the identification and resolution of issues related to ANG air-to-surface and air-to- air ranges to include instrumented ranges (Distributed Mission Operations (DMO), Data Link, ACMI, EW, etc.) at ANG fighter wings, ranges and CRTCs. Provide SME and administrative support to NGB for the ANG regional/readiness exercise program. Will help develop and maintain program Standard Operation Procedures and administrative products to ensure program continuity.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years demonstrated senior level experience in the expansion and improvement of capabilities and training at the Combat Readiness Training Centers (CRTC);
- Development of strategic and planning documents for CRTCs for programmatic decisions; coordination and documentation of the National Guard Bureau Combat Readiness Training Center Council and Working Group meetings; production of comparison products documenting Site Capabilities and Training Opportunities; documentation of fielding and sustainment plans for CRTCs, equipment, and all CRTC support capabilities; regulatory reviews; and JNTC Accreditation/Certification of Air National Guard Training Sites and ANG sponsored exercises; documentation of Operational Training Infrastructure process management; development of Regional Training Program strategic planning documents/management.
