Operating in Lincoln, Buckley & Sitzman offers a complete range of financial management services for businesses, non-profit organizations, niche industries, and individuals. These services include audit and attestation services, tax, business consulting, payroll and outsourced accounting. As Buckley & Sitzman continues to grow, we are looking to add a new full-time Senior Tax Accountant to our team. This position will involve preparing and reviewing personal, business and non-profit tax returns, advising individual and business clients on current tax planning strategies, and supporting other members of our team by providing exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate for a full-time Senior Tax Accountant position will have:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience and possess a willingness to develop as a professional
  • Working knowledge of Thomsen Reuters software products, preferred but not required
  • Capable of effectively working independently as a contributor and collaboratively in a team.
  • Worked with accounting clients as needed using QuickBooks accounting software (both desktop and Online)
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field is preferred
  • Detail orientation with strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to correspond and communicate professionally with clients and within the organization.
  • Ability to develop and grow support staff, effectively delegate, and conduct detailed reviews on work provided to staff.
  • Ability to build in-depth knowledge of key client industries.
  • Able to promptly handle client inquiries and requests.
  • Ability to analyze data and have next level thinking when reviewing work.
  • Must have flexibility to meet the needs of the firm and our commitments to clients, while complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting, tax and financial regulations.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
