Day to Day

To ensure Indeed UX can deliver high-quality product experiences--leveraging the latest that AI can offer--we need a Senior UXOps Designer who can partner with UX leadership, the Design System team, and the greater product organization to establish a vision and strategy for how Indeed integrates AI into the design process. To further enable this transformation, this person will also be responsible for defining and leading the delivery of our UX tooling strategy and overseeing the work of our contract tool coordinator.

AI is going to change how all of us work, and this role will be laser-focused on translating UX needs into AI opportunities, and partnering with UX and cross-functional partners to evangelize and guide our organization to evolve how we practice design. You'll leverage your expertise in UX and AI, build empathy with other UXers and cross-functional partners, and then use design methodologies to scale and enable AI-powered design practices.

Responsibilities

  • Work with UX leaders and our AI and Product Transformation teams to establish and drive the AI vision for UX.
  • Develop an AI UX strategy, design goals, and a roadmap for achieving them.
  • Partner with UX leaders to establish AI design methods and standards, and steer initiatives that integrate AI throughout the design process to deliver on company-wide priorities.
  • Optimize design workflows and the ways we safeguard and enable UX quality and consistency across our products.
  • Utilize your deep UX experience to set the vision for and manage the delivery of our UX tooling strategy and annual software budget, and work closely with our finance, procurement, and business operations teams to deliver on it.
  • Work across teams to build relationships, develop business cases, evaluate new tool requests, and coordinate funding for strategic UX initiatives. Leverage change management best practices to oversee successful adoption.
  • Oversee the work of our tool coordinator ensuring we’re effectively utilizing our software suite through timely provisioning, rigorous license governance, and training that supports design goals and our evolving design process.

Skills/Competencies

  • 5+ years working in UX.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI to enable and scale the practice of UX.
  • Adept in autonomously leading enterprise-wide initiatives, including partnering with cross-functional teams, strategy development, building influence, and overseeing implementation.

New York City, Metro Area 139,000 - 201,000 USD per year
Seattle, Metro Area 139,000 - 196,000 USD per year
San Francisco, Bay Area 147,000 - 213,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
