SVP Humana Medicare - New York

The position requires a strategic operator with proven leadership experience and a focused mindset that encompasses accountability, management skills, strategy, judgment, organizational acumen, and evidenced-based analysis to influence decisions, and directly to meet CINQCARE requirements and Humana objectives. The Senior Vice-President will have dual reporting to the CEO of CINQCARE, NY and the Chief Medical Officer, CINQCARE, Inc. The Senior Vice-President should embody CINQCARE’s core values, including Trusted, Empathetic, Committed, Humble, Creative, and Community-Minded. At CINQCARE, we don’t have patients or customers – we have Family Members.

The Senior Vice-President for CINQCARE Humana Medicare will be responsible for the Medicare business to include full-risk and MSO for MA and Duals through attribution or geographic alignment. The incumbent will be the lead person for day-to-day interface and management of all aspects of the Humana, New York business relationship.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Vice-President for CINQCARE Humana Medicare will have the following responsibilities:

· Serving as the Senior Vice-President and day-to-day lead for Humana Medicare, New York business vertical

· Provide the strategic vision for growth and operations of the Humana Medicare New York business relationship.

· Lead CINQCARE team on discussions with Humana Medicare on contract product and market expansion as well as renewal

· Overseeing and directing the development of communications across the enterprise and with Humana as it relates to business development and operations.

· Overseeing and directing the design of processes and operational strategies for growth with MA, MA Duals, MSO and membership attribution to the IPA and Care Medical Practice

· In collaboration with CINQCARE Connect, overseeing implementation and monitoring performance of vendor agreement(s) quality and utilization metrics and KPIs.

· Coordinating senior level engagement with CINQCARE team members and Humana Medicare senior leadership to ensure alignment of expectations throughout the entire contract period.

· Contributing support to Humana Medicare Duals with NYS Medicaid for annual renewal of their Medicare Duals license

· Perform other job-related duties.

General Duties

The Healthcare Economic Consultant will have the following duties:

· Leadership: The SVP will lead in defining and executing strategies and solutions to create business value for CINQCARE, including collaborating with their team to design, develop, and execute those strategies and solutions to deliver desired outcomes.

· Strategy: The SVP will establish the business strategy and roadmap: (1) improve outcomes for CINQCARE Family Members; (2) enhance the efficacy of other CINQCARE business divisions; and (3) develop and deliver external market opportunities for CINQCARE products and services. In establishing the business strategy, the SVP will define and innovate sustainable revenue models to drive profitability of the Company.

· Collaboration: The SVP will ensure that CINQCARE’s capabilities form a cohesive offering, including by working closely with other business divisions to learn their needs, internalize their knowledge, and define solutions to achieve the business objectives of CINQCARE.

· Knowledge: The SVP will provide subject matter expertise in Medicaid, Medicare, and dual eligible solutions, including determining and recommending approaches for mitigating risk solution deployment and performance evaluation.

· Culture: The SVP is accountable for being hands-on in the field and for creating a productive, collaborative, safe and inclusive work environment for the team and as part of the larger Company. The SVP demonstrates a willingness to listen effectively and communicate with respect, thoughtfulness, and transparency.


The SVP should have the following qualifications:

· Education: A bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration or related field is strongly preferred.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience working with health care plans and/or ACOs operating in Medicare and/or Medicaid with a track record of successful management in a matrix environment with efficiency and high customer satisfaction and goal attainment

o Hands on experience overseeing operations and growing programs within the context of matrix structured organizations with strong leadership skills that develops and empowers employees.

o Demonstrated working knowledge MA, MA Duals and Medicaid programs.

o Cultural competency is a pre-requisite both in the workplace and marketplace as demonstrated by leadership, training, experience, education, and personal philosophy.

o Strong familiarity with network development to assist with growth strategy.

o Demonstrated working knowledge of clinic and home-based care models as implemented in Medicare and Medicaid

o Prior experience with project management and leading cross-functional complex time sensitive projects required.

o Strong organizational, analytical, financial acumen, communication and presentation skills required.

o Industry expertise and knowledge of health care, health insurance, health care providers, health care consumers and health care regulators is differentiating

o Proficiency in strategic thinking, problem solving and advanced excel skills required.

o High level of integrity demonstrated by behavior and keeping/fulling commitments.

· Entrepreneurial: CINQCARE seeks to fix gaps that have persisted for generations in the delivery of care to Black and Brown populations. This position is accountable for ensuring CINQCARE is positioned to innovatively deliver on its promise.

· Communication: Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and strong organizational skills; ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and models in an accessible manner to CINQCARE’s team, investors, partners, and other stakeholders. Possess analytical skills and possess problem-solving ability.

· Relationships: Ability to build and effectively manage relationships with their team, business leaders and external constituents. Energetic and proactive in creating opportunities, solving problems, and being prepared in an extremely cross-functional role.

· Culture: Good judgement, impeccable ethics, and a strong team player; desire to succeed and grow in a fast-paced, demanding, and entrepreneurial Company.
