Server - Bedford Hall

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our fine dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and a strong understanding of food service operations. As a Server, you will play a vital role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, setting the tone for their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
• Provide detailed menu knowledge, including daily specials and wine pairings, to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service throughout the dining experience.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant policies as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and Toast is a plus.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster positive guest interactions.
• A background in sales or hospitality can be beneficial in enhancing the overall guest experience.
