Service Technician

Service Technician Grand Rapids:

Village MotorSports is looking to hire a reliable and experienced service technician. Qualified technician must be able to diagnose, adjust, repair, and/ or overhaul motorcycles and other similar motorized power vehicles including scooters, mopeds, dirt bikes, ATV, UTV, snowmobiles, and PWC's.

Service Technician Responsibilities:

· Use service manuals to help diagnose and repair powersports vehicles.

· Perform general maintenance and recall work for OEM brands carried by dealership.

· Work with service writers to ensure customers understand repairs done to their machines.

· Use Lightspeed program to write detailed notes on work/repairs done.

· Work respectfully and collaboratively alongside other trained technicians.

Key Abilities:

· 5 years of powersports technician experience with certifications.

· Must have your own toolbox and tools.

· Must possess a valid driver's license & reliable transportation, motorcycle endorsement a plus but not required.

· Experience servicing motorcycles/ATV/UTV's is preferred.

· Must be available to work Monday - Saturday (Closed Sundays).

· Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

· Basic computer skills.

· Adhere to a drug free work environment and company safety guidelines.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Must be able to walk, stand, carry, kneel, and reach.

· Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

· May involve extended periods of sitting, standing, reading and using the computer.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
