Full job description

Location: Baltimore, MD (1-2 days onsite per week)

We’re hiring for ServiceNow SAM Senior Developers with deep expertise in SAM Pro to help drive software asset management strategy, optimize licensing, and deliver data-driven insights across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, configure, and optimize ServiceNow SAM Pro for software asset tracking and compliance
  • Build and automate workflows for reconciliation, entitlement tracking, and reporting
  • Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, SaaS platforms)
  • Monitor license usage, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure audit readiness
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to align SAM processes with best practices
  • Create dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot and enhance platform performance and scalability

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience
  • 3+ years working specifically with SAM Pro
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models (user, device, subscription, SaaS)
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems (e.g., SCCM, cloud tools)
  • Hands-on experience with CMDB design and data governance
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist, SAM Pro
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ITIL Foundation (or higher)
  • Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
