Shift Lead

SHOE DEPT. ENCORE, the country’s largest privately held footwear retailer in business 64 years with more than 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Shift Lead to join our team. This position is available at 3592 Capital City Mall Dr, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

What you should know:

The Shift Lead works with the Store Manager with daily operations of a shoe store to maximize sales and maintain operational company standards.

· Management/supervisory skills preferred.

· Retail experience preferred.

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Must have a passion for excellent customer service.

· Must be available various hours, including nights and weekends.

· Must be able to operate company computer systems.

Duties to include:

· Assisting in scheduling, interviewing, and recruiting employees

· Developing customer relationships

· Promoting group purchase opportunities in the community

· Conflict resolution among secondary staffing

· Develop strategies for goal achievement

· Monitor and control payroll

· Support all aspects of inventory control

· Communicating merchandise needs to corporate office through the stores POS.
