Job Summary:
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and supporting the distribution of food to those in need across a 12-county area in North Texas.

Duties:
- Manages initial receiving decisions to classify donations according to WFAFB coding strategies for optimal flow through Network to client. and distribution of food products to partner agencies of the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank.
- Perform order picking, packing, and shipping of food supplies
- Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks to move goods within the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks for deliveries
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines at all times and Manages the sequencing of daily and weekly resources; delegates and adjusts work assignments to accomplish goals and targets. Follows established safe work procedures. Works efficiently inside resource constraints and pays rigorous attention to transactional procedures.

Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles preferred
- Familiarity with order picking processes and stock management
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and best practices
- Experience with reach trucks is a plus
- Understanding of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
