Shipping Dock Specialist

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Small Pack Shipper is responsible for filling and delivering customer orders to the shipping dock, in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Using warehouse management system & RF Scanners to gather and fill customer orders.
• Able to navigate between NetSuite & SHIP Engine software, confirming packages are labeled and shipping to the correct addresses.
• Accurately load cartons to the correct carrier trailer & ensure all are marked with correct identifying information.
• Perform general housekeeping as needed to maintain a clean and safe work.

Requirements:

• High School Education
• Excels in time management, multi-tasking and balancing multiple orders at one time.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to other department functions as needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and have sufficient English speaking ability.
• Basic math skills are necessary.

Other Job Demands:

• Some overtime and Saturdays required.
• Willing and able to work in a hot and cold warehouse environment.
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 75 lbs.
• Extended periods of standing/walking / bending/stooping / kneeling on a concrete floor

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
