Shipping & Receiving Manager

Position Overview

Thompson/Center Arms is seeking an experienced and highly organized Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee all warehouse operations related to the movement of products, parts, and materials. This role ensures that every firearm and accessory leaving our facility reflects our reputation of precision and quality, while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely, accurate, and secure movement of firearms, parts, and materials.
• Manage inventory control processes, including tracking, documentation, and audits.
• Supervise shipping schedules, packaging standards, labeling, and carrier coordination to meet customer and dealer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms shipping regulations (ATF, DOT, etc.).
• Develop and implement process improvements for warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, schedule, and lead the shipping/receiving team, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to support company goals.
• Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records in ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Oversee proper handling of returns, warranty shipments, and inbound deliveries.

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving management.
• Knowledge of firearms industry shipping requirements and regulations strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
