Full job description
The Baton Rouge regional office is seeking a Short-Term Respite Program Supervisor to oversee temporary caregiving arrangements that give primary caregivers a break while ensuring the individual continues to receive safe, consistent, and appropriate care. This role blends direct supervision of respite workers, care coordination, and client/family support.
A Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related human service/mental health field is required. A minimum of two years experience managing staff, and in the delivery of services to children and adults with disabilities is preferred. Must be organized, computer literate, highly professional, and able to handle multiple demands with deadlines. Applicants must be willing to submit to required background and clearance checks. Valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.
