Shop Manager

Finn Graphics Inc. is an established 30 year old sign company that creates and manufactures signs & graphics nationally, and offers installation to local clients. We create detailed work in an informal and team-oriented environment that ensures the well-being of our staff while diligently working to fulfill the needs of our clients. We are based in Floyd
Virginia, a vibrant small town with a strong arts and music culture that offers a high quality standard of living.

We are currently hiring a full time Shop Manager to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day to day operations of the design and print shop
  • Manage workflow through the entire design and print process that includes estimating, receiving jobs, designing, manufacturing and installing signs
  • Manage staff of 1-2 shop production and installation assistants
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Interface with clients and staff to keep all parties informed of work status, needs, and deadlines
  • Work with staff to complete designs, production and installations as needed
  • Position has possibility for advancement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or greater
  • Associates degree in design or equivalent on the job experience
  • 2 years of documented sign shop experience with a focus on design and production
  • Candidate must be motivated to learn
  • Have knowledge of or be able to quickly learn Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Gerber Omega software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to relocate or commute reliably to location in the Town of Floyd, VA 24091
