Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Computational Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team at EMA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational analysis and PCBA design, with specific expertise in signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic interference (EMI). This role will involve working with advanced software tools to design, analyze, and optimize PCBA designs to ensure the highest levels of performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computational signal integrity analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting of PCBA designs for SI and PI issues.
- Design and optimize PCBA layouts for improved signal and power integrity.
- Conduct electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis.
- Utilize tools such as SIWave, HFSS, and EMC Plus for comprehensive analysis.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure product designs meet all necessary performance standards.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to validate design performance.
- Documentation of analysis results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in computational analysis, signal integrity (SI), and power integrity (PI).
- Proficiency with SIWave, HyperLynx, or similar SI tools.
- Proficiency with PCBA CAD software such as Altium Designer.
- Strong understanding of PCBA design and layout principles.
- Experience with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis.
- Familiarity with product design processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience:
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic field-based analysis.
- Familiar with high-frequency digital and analog signal behavior.
- Comfortable with OOP languages like Python and C++.
- Certification in signal integrity or related areas is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
