Full job description
This is an exciting time to join our team as we expand into a second location in Ohiopyle, PA!
Touchstone Center for Crafts, a nationally known arts nonprofit, is seeking a Site Manager to lead the launch and long-term success of its Ohiopyle location [Touchstone by the Falls]. This role integrates earned revenue generation with mission-driven place-making, ensuring the site operates as both a financially sustainable retail and program destination and a vibrant, creativity-centered community hub.
During peak tourism months, the position is highly customer-facing, focused on retail sales, visitor experience, and operational excellence. During the off-season, the Site Manager emphasizes planning, analysis, system-building, staff development, and coordination of inventory, programs, and partnerships.
This role requires someone in-person and includes nights and weekends as needed. A hybrid schedule may be possible during non-peak season. Please visit touchstonecrafts.org for more information on the organizaiton.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations, retail gallery performance, staffing, scheduling, and visitor experience.
- Oversee POS systems, inventory management, merchandising, and sales tracking.
- Train, and supervise staff and volunteers.
- Help coordinate programs and flex space use.
- Serve as Touchstone’s on-site representative in Ohiopyle.

Touchstone recognizes that this is a new site with evolving needs. This role may grow with the candidate as operations stabilize and programming, staffing, and partnerships expand.
Emerging leaders with strong organizational skills and a desire to build systems, culture, and community are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience and arts knowledge.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary starts at $50,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health benefits, paid time off (PTO), Simple IRA with employer match, and Touchstone workshop and merchandise discounts.
