Full job description
Working Title Simulations is building aircraft, avionics packages and core features that power the Microsoft Flight Simulator experience for millions of enthusiasts worldwide.
Are you a software developer who also has a passion for aviation? Do you enjoy seeing your code come to life as part of larger community? If so, come join the Working Title team!
We are looking for people that are driven to learn and are obsessed with code. Being a team player is a must. You will be working daily with your team members to manage product releases and day-to-day development activities.
You will make those around you better, participate in designing new features, perform code reviews, and most importantly ship code!
You are an expert in TypeScript/HTML/CSS and/or simulation-related C++ projects.
You have strong knowledge of aviation (real or simulated), including what various instruments do and how they work. Successful candidates will have some professional experience with aviation or flight simulator development.
You will spend your entire day, every day, working with virtual airplanes and their cockpits, building them to look and work just like their real-world counterparts do, so knowledge of real-world aviation technologies and procedures is required to do the job right.
You will often have to scan hundreds of pages of real-world avionics and aircraft manuals, as well as meticulously testing scenarios in avionics simulators.
You will be a part of team with senior developers that will continuously be involved in coaching and technical mentoring.
This work is incredibly detail-oriented and is a great opportunity to contribute to the fastest growing flight simulator community on earth.
