Solar and Electrical Foreman

Award-winning, local contractor seeks a "bags on" Foreman for solar PV, battery, and other electrical projects in Sonoma, Napa, and Marin.

Duties:

• Lead crew to install, maintain, and repair solar, battery, and electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure efficient and high quality work
• Renovate existing electrical systems in accordance with local codes and regulations
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues
• Keep accurate records of work performed
• Supervise Electrical Trainee
• Communicate with customers and other team members

Skills:

• Should be a Certified Electrician registered with DIR (or C-10 with ability to become Certified)
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
• Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor
• You must be fully comfortable working on roofs and ladders and able to reach, bend, and lift up to 60 pounds for several hours at a time
