Full job description
Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska is looking for the right person to train as a Solar Installer Crew Leader at our Anchorage location. Solar is one of the fastest-growing industries and this is a great opportunity to get training and experience with the best Renewable Energy company in Alaska.A motivated person will find that the position offers plenty of room for growth and opportunity!
Compensation: $28-$35 per hour DOE
Employment Type: Full-time, Year-Round

Schedule: Four 10-hour days a week + opportunities for overtime.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Managing crew on the installation of PV solar panels, generators, battery backups and other renewable energy systems.
· Installations to include layout plan, field logistics, delegating responsibilities, quality control, materials management and reporting.
· Loading, unloading, and working with materials in a variety of environments including rooftops, fields, mountains, and more!
· Inventory allocation and management.
· Install solar, wind, and battery power management systems with the best products in the industry.
· Supervise and implement safety programs.
· Train and develop crew members.
· Monitor equipment and vehicle compliance/inspections.
· Uphold company safety practices at all times and promote positive safety culture.
· Lead by example, working alongside crew members.
Requirements:
· 2+ years in construction, roofing and/or electrical experience
· 2+ years of crew management experience
· 1+ year of solar experience preferred
· Effective Communication, Problem-Solving and Time-Management Skills
· Ability to pass a background check
· Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR
· Ability to pass DOT physical for driving company vehicles
