Join Our Mission to Make a Difference!

At Rise for baby and family, we support families with young children who experience or are at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. As a resource and advocate for inclusive early childhood systems in the Monadnock Region, our work is transforming the lives of children within our program and our community.

Why Join Us?As a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) on our Early Supports & Services team, you'll have the unique opportunity to make a profound impact on children from birth to age three. Our services are primarily home-based, involving families directly in providing developmental, social-emotional, and behavioral opportunities that foster growth and well-being. Your role is pivotal in shaping a brighter future for our youngest community members.

What a Week Looks Like…Based out of our Keene, NH office, you'll enjoy flexibility to create your own schedule, typically working Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM. You'll engage with families both onsite and in the community, working hands-on to:

  • Develop and monitor individualized family service plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Empower parents by demonstrating effective interaction techniques and helping them understand their child’s developmental journey.
  • Reinforce strategies and objectives to support the child's growth.
  • Conduct assessments and develop goals in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Guide families through transitions to other public or private services before the child turns three.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate case records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing learning, mentoring, and relationship-based supervision.
  • For a complete list of responsibilities and expectations, please see the full job description.

Who We’re Looking For…We are a team of dedicated, caring professionals committed to providing family-centered care through a collaborative, transdisciplinary approach. We seek someone with a solid understanding of early childhood development and experience in early intervention. The ideal candidate is:

  • Passionate about working with families and children, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • A proactive team player who contributes constructively to the Early Supports & Services team.
  • Comfortable using general office software like Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Minimum Requirements

All candidates must possess the following:

  • Relevant degree and NH state licensure in Speech Language Pathology (or the ability to obtain within six months of hire).
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and an inspected and registered vehicle.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check upon offer.

What to Expect…This role is dynamic and varied! You’ll need the ability to adapt to different environments and handle diverse physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and assisting clients. Home visits may expose you to a range of environments and, depending on the season, changing traveling conditions.
