Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will work with patients of all ages, focusing on diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. Your expertise will be essential in developing individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication and enhance the quality of life for your patients.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities in patients.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans based on patient assessments and individual needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve speech clarity, language skills, and overall communication effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
  • Provide early intervention services for children with developmental delays in communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy and related fields.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech therapy and patient care.
  • Experience or knowledge in pediatrics is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and early intervention strategies.
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology as it relates to speech and language functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $49.60 - $52.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
