Sports Card & Memorabilia Expert Product Associate - Full Time

SMR Collectibles is now actively hiring a Expert Product Associate! Our ideal candidate is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the Sports Memorabilia & Card industry, and has the ability to assess and list sports cards & memorabilia from any era.

Daily tasks include but not limited to:

• Pricing cards and memorabilia for eBay.
• Preparing for card shows.
• Research into specialized cards and memorabilia.
• Writing files.
• Managing multiple tasks.
• Sorting through cards.
• Grading Cards.

Requirements we are searching for are:

• Has the ability to know the true value of any card without the assistance of comps from eBay or any other website that collects sales data of sports cards.
• Has critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Remains calm under pressure.
• Has modern and vintage card knowledge.
• Knows current pricing of high valued sports cards & memorabilia.
• Knowledge of autographs, years, brands.
• Has modern and vintage card knowledge.
• Knowledge of various sports memorabilia & non-sport memorabilia items.
• Knowledge of stars, prospects, rookies, and up and coming players in all four major sports.
• Knowledge in TCG (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-OH, Magic the Gathering, and More).
• Knowledge of vintage miscellaneous products and comic books is a plus.
• eBay experience.
• Selling experience on eBay, Facebook, Craigslist, Let Go, What Not etc. is a plus.
• Experience with Excel and Google Drive.

Education:

• Associates (Minimum).
• Bachelors (Preferred).

Experience:

• Sports Card Value Knowledge: 10-15 Years (required).
• Memorabilia Value Knowledge: 10-15 Years (preferred).
• Retail and/or E-commerce. 5+ Years (preferred).

Schedule:

• 8 Hour Shifts.
• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime.
• Occasional weekends.

Work Location:

• Amityville, NY (Off Route 109)
• Job is located in a climate-controlled warehouse/office-hybrid setting where you will have your own desk/office chair and computer, as well as supplies and other pertinent job-related supplies
• Workspace is very open, and all product is on mobile shelving units

Note: Only employees who are full time after 1 year will be eligible to receive aforementioned benefits. (excluding PTO which you will receive on your first day with SMR Collectibles)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
